Panel 3; Voice Directions; Acting 101 (Beginners Acting & Voice Class)
In this panel we will be discussing acting for the stage
and acting with our voices. Demonstrating how to move
freely and make larger viewable expressions.
How to project your voice for the audience.
Your blocking on stage and why it's so important.
How the way you stand and move can effect the way you speak.
How to get more emotion into your voice even for beginning actors.
How to look at a plain script and see artwork in vocals and
opportunity to transform a 2D or 3D character into a stand out
personally.
This is a slightly hands on type panel
where we will ask someone from the audience to read for us
from a script and then coach and direct them as we give a
live demonstration in making the same lines sound better,
with more expression and emotion.
This will be an experience to remember.. as it's not your
normal acting class nor is it a common "how to be a
voice actor / actor" question and answer panel. You will
be working with the Director/Voice Director from the
Cosplay Zone who has experiance as a voice actress/actress
for some years. So now is your chance to have one on one
with our director taking you into the studio of imagination and
asking you to perform after giving out a few pointers.
Safety wont be an issue here, stunts are not a part of this,
the most you may need to do is get out of your seat and
stand at the side of your chair or come up front if you raised
your hand to take part.
