Danielle Kemper
Forum Name: Kadagan
(Board: President )

Best known around Arizona as "that person
over there" to talk to about; (fill in the blank
here.) Danielle has been managing and
answering questions related to Cosplay
Zone Productions since it's creation in
2005. Additionally she has simply been
known as "that chick running sound
and lights at cons."

It all started when Danielle was a child and her family introduced her into the world of acting, and singing. As an aspiring child actress, whenever she was asked about what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would respond with "A cartoon character." Around the age of 12 it finally happened, She landed her first lead role as the voice for a character on a childrens TV show. Since then, she has acted and voiced for a few various projects but she soon started living a double life working with animals and juggling recording.

Today she works mostly with animals. Running her own mobile dog grooming business and managing Cosplay Zone. There she has the chance to help train young adults in everything she's learned through her experiences in entertainment and recording.

Jeanne Campbell
Forum Name: Bob1
(Board: Secretary/Treasurer)

Jeanne is known for her creative pattern designs, and the precise realistic touch that brings animated characters combined with real life into an astonishing costuming display.  22 years worth of small sectioned plays help with her understanding of seam allowance and the durability she gives her creations.

While she is aspiring to be a traditional and computer graphic animator, with a few years of college courses in that field not to mention a few degrees. She was suddenly derailed when she helped found a professional cosplay troupe, known as Cosplay Zone. Jeanne now manages the group and conventions taking up most of her free time.

Krystle Hastings
Forum Name: Goldfish
(Board: Vice President)

"The Goldfish" aka Krystle often acted in several plays slated to show very close to each other. Meaning she would be memorizing sometimes up to three scripts and large roles simultaneity. A master at multitasking her various rolls, she'll make even the most difficult character look easy.

Today she is a director in Cosplay Zone, a professional theatrical group. There she teaches new actors how to memorize their lines, run through blocking and is an upcoming master in sound and ADR with ProTools. She is also efficient in final cut pro, and a wide range of many other editing and video software.

Josh Davis
(Board: Historian/Member)

Josh joined Cosplay Zone in 2009. Since then, he has attended many conventions with the group as a lesion to the groups three directors and actively acting as the groups historian and PA. Additionally he is starting to take the stage in his first acting role with the group by playing the roll of Martin from D.N.Angel.

Cherie Kemper
Forum Name: IndySound

Very well known for her many talents,
and more then 30 years experience,
Cherie is working as the music director
& editor and she can often be found
operating one of the mini DV cameras
or helping with the lighting, sound,
recording & mixing equiptment for
the Cosplay Zone productions.

Cherie's past experience excels in the
musical industry as a professional
drummer and vocalist starting from
the early age of 12. Practicing all the
time, up to twelve hours a day. She
started her career in rock & roll garage
bands. Mostly performing in living
rooms, then finally landing a small gig
at the state fair which grew into playing
for rehab centers, high school dances
and weddings. Later she joined a top 40 dance band booked by a local
agent at the age of 16. The money was good playing casuals and she
eventually landed the best house job in town, playing 6 nights a week.
At age 17 she spent the next few years on the road playing in dance
rock bands and enjoyed the tour.

Playing in local country bands, R&B and dance rock groups.
She became interested in 'Midi' in the mid 80's and started composing
songs on her 16 track music workstation, later learning the cakewalk
program. With the early 90's Cherie was working in a duo, playing
keyboards and singing then started performing as a single in 1994.

In the late 90's, Cherie felt a calling on her life to learn about nutrition
and to share this knowledge with others. She decided the only way was
by getting her degree in nutrition from an accredited college. Today she
has her B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics from Arizona State University and
has completed a nine month long internship with the Paradise Valley School
District  and has passed her R.D exam. She is also planning on pursuing her
Masters degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in
Marketing just as soon as she is able.

Cherie still has a passion for music and performs out mostly during the
busy holiday seasons. Her favorite music is definitely contemporary
Christian. She plans on spending some time this winter in the studio
laying down a few tracks for her CD.

Allan North
Forum Name: Seth Bramwell

Definitely the odd duck of the group, Allan
is one of few members of the Cosplay Zone
who does not even reside in Arizona.
He is a Las Vegas, Nevada resident and works
there as a special education teacher for grades
3-5 at a local elementary school. Allan pursues
his professional work with a passion,  and is
not above throwing in anime illustrations to
his worksheets and even doing a little
cosplay to make a lesson more engaging.

Allan began cosplaying as  a hobby around 1999,
when he dressed up as James from Pokemon for
Halloween, and started to “seriously” cosplay at
the first Anizona in 2005 when he attended as
Schrodinger of Hellsing and entered a solo skit
performance in the masquerade. Despite loving
cosplay and sewing,  Allan only recently learned to use a
sewing machine! All of his costumes prior to this were hand
sewn,  most of them from scratch.  These have included
Fuhrer Bradley and Fletcher Tringham.

Due to work schedules and geographic limitations,  Allan is
not always able to join in on the Cosplay Zone’s activities,
but when he is able to,  he is always eager to do so. Allan is
also in frequent contact with Jeanne and Danielle, and is often
shooting ideas their way to contribute to the creativity.

Allan’s other hobbies and interests include writing, computers,
and music. (You’d be hard pressed to find a genre he doesn’t like
at least one song from!) He thoroughly enjoys manga and internet
cartoons. He is also the proud father of three children, all of whom
are budding cosplayers.

Tony Pineda
Forum Name:

Tony has been a long time member of Cosplay Zone, However no one is exactly sure when he first came around. Best known as 'the guy in the corner.' Tony has been that one person in the group who managed to be overlooked at just about every meeting. Not one to speak up or move around he would often blend into the walls. Around 2008 Tony was put to work at conventions with the group by being their treasurer during events like the character auction and host club cafes. He soon became a reliable rode and lesion for the groups actors. When something was needed he was that 'go get it guy' that everyone needs on hand. Today Tony is acting on stage with the group and actively working as an additional stage hand during their shows and every event. He works hard at conventions, behind the scenes and on the convention floor running things from point A to point B and setting up, tearing down and everything in between.

Laura Knapp
Forum Name: Layla Pathos

Laura has got to be one of the busiest young
women we know today. She came to the
Cosplay Zone in 2005 packed full of
previous experience in multiple fields. Having
preformed and worked in various theatrical
plays for years such as, Hello Dolly, Fame,
Noises Off, A Midsummer's Nights Dream or
Children of Eden. She was also found taking
charge behind the scenes as a principal
leader working in construction, set design,
stage and lighting crew or working as the
Assistant Stage Manager, Laura Truly carries
many of the background roles in the Cosplay
Zone that most audience goers may not see.
You will usually find Laura either behind or
on-stage playing one of our famous "Stage Ninja"
roles. If you don't find her there you may catch a
glimpse of her jetting to her car to run to her next gig!

Just as any good industry personal she has years of past training classes from private vocal lessons, acting, theater workshop and production design that only further boasts her abilities. Although Laura stays incredibly busy outside the Cosplay Zone she somehow manages to lead the two lives giving us stunning performances, ideas and hard work while jumping in at any given time where she is needed.

Krista Campbell
Forum Name: Mouse

Acting on stage in a variety of plays such as
The Miracle Worker, Snow White or The
Madwomen of Chaillo. Krista has even more
impressive experience backstage with an
associates degree in Stage Production
Technology with certificates in entertainment
construction and stage management.
Currently working in costuming and design or
supervising set construction from her far away
home in Oklahoma or catching a red eye flight
to be onstage the next day with the Cosplay
Zone, Krista still stays true to her love for
theater, be it onstage or off.

Some of her more well known jobs in the costuming field with the local
wardrobe union are Disney's The Lion King, Mamma Mia, Cats and a large variety of other various operas.

Nicole Todd

Forum Name: SilverDreams

Nicole Joined Cosplay Zone in 2006. She started in the group as a rode. Carrying bags and equipment for almost a year before she found herself on stage in just one of many performances soon to come. Today she is one of the groups leading actress's. One of her larger rolls included Hikaru from Ouran high school the musical, first performed at Phoenix Comicon 2009. Now she is playing Argentiene in D.N.Angel for the group at upcoming conventions in 2010. Additionally Nicole is also one of their ADR directors working with ProTools when it comes time for recording sessions. She is also one of the groups teachers for working with the recording and audio software.

Lindsay Whan
Forum Name: Lins

Lindsay started out in the Cosplay Zone
as the "stuff holder" ..more less, our
first rodie. Quickly working her way into
backstage and camera operation where
needed, she picked up immensely fast
all of the ins and outs that it takes to
keep a smooth and seemingly flawless
Cosplay Zone performance running as a
backstage assistant & dresser. Debuting
herself periodically onstage in various
Cosplay Zone performances when needed.
Where she's been seen acting as one of the
famous and well loved "Stage Ninja's" by all audiences. Lindsay is further stepping up in acting roles as lead supporting characters in two different plays slated for late 2008 and 2010.

When she is not helping out in costuming wedged between a wall and sewing machine or painting props, you will usually find her busily text role playing, running her online guild on the famous "Gaia Online" or playing well known video games. She may also be found knee deep in research yet again for the Cosplay Zone studying manga vs. the anime series, so that all scripts can be multiply appealing to most audiences for a pleasurable and fun experience. Outside the realm of the Cosplay Zone she remains happily busy working into college towards her Art Degree.

Arielle Leach
Forum Name: Rel

Arielle, or ‘Rel’ as she’s known to the

rest of the group has been in theater

and band (concert and marching pit)

since high school.  In college she

had continued with theater, Some

of her theater performances include;

Grease, Annie, Guys & Dolls Noises Off,

Shakespeare Review, Princess Bride,

Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat,

Midsummer's Night dream, Into the Woods,

and Pirates of Penzance.

Arielle first really got into anime in 2003 when a friend

showed her an episode of ‘Ranma 1/2’ and became hooked

ever since. Her first cosplay was Misty from ‘Pokemon’.

Most likely you will see her running around backstage working

on lighting or other thech support for the group. However just

reciently in 2009 Arielle was cast as Towa for the stage show

D.N.Angel the group is doing.

Jake Leach

Jake's appearance in Cosplay Zone didn't happen until about 2009, Even though his wife has been a member of the group for a few years. Jake has been one of those awesome rode people that you need on hand during conventions and for pre loading. The group tends to drag trucks full of equipment to conventions around the South West. Jake has just been one of those lucky people who got first dragged into lugging speakers and furnature to and from trailors for shows. Today Jake is no longer dragging things around just to be a nice guy but rather because he has officially joined the group as a backstage member. Today he is found helping various cons on his own even as hospitality/food, staffing, security, or minor tech rolls. Maybe one day we'll even get him on the stage.

Alexandra Graybill

Spending her time and money to further support the group at conventions and anime fests, she is working as lead staff in various departments during such public events. She is one of our busiest new members as many days a week, Ale makes the hour long commute by train from Mesa to Phoenix to be in attendance for practices and meetings.

Sawyer Velarde

Forum Name: ChibiNeko

First cast as the understudy for the acting roll of Hunny from Cosplay Zone's Ouran High School, The Musical. Sawyer was discovered at a public audition session taking place during AniZona 3. Later Sawyer was called back to audition for another roll and landed the part of Riku Harada in the groups upcoming show of D.N.Angel. Today Sawyer works hard at her rolls and helps during public events and at various convention events. She is sure to become a known face with the group.

Kellan Velarde

Kellan was found by the group while her sister Sawyer was at practice. A few of Cosplay Zone's directors had noticed Kellan coming to most all of the same practice's Sawyer did. It was that which caused Kellan to land a immediate audition for a roll that had not yet been filled. Kellan now is playing the roll of; TV announcer in the stage show D.N.Angel.

Brookie Starr

Froum Name: Buru

A recent addition to Cosplay Zone, Brookie was called out for an audition when one of the groups former actress' had put a hold on her roll due to college. Brookie got the rolls for Emiko Niwa and Qualia, in the groups show of D.N.Angel after her second audition and was quickly added into the groups list of members.
