The following videos are a good example of competition based
Masquerade Theatrical Cosplay. Theatrical Cosplay is where a group takes their
sewing skills and acting skills into a higher standard of performance then a normal
"skit" seen in masquerades. General skits are thrown together by groups normally
at the conventions or a week in advance. Ours are sections of full story lined plays
that we can perform at various runtimes. Complete with sets, signs, and sometimes
even full stage backdrops. The real trick is keeping the storyline to a enjoyable script
while it's compressed down to about 3 minutes for getting on stage, performing and
getting off stage in your time allowed. (This is something we cover in our panels,
